Universal Studios Japan will be holding “Universal Jump Summer”, a limited time event, starting on Friday, 1st July 2016.

Universal Jump Summer is a collaboration with Japan’s world renowned manga magazine “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha) and characters from the magazine will star in their own attractions.

Universal Jump Summer combines the legendary works of Dragon Ball, Death Note and One Piece, which have garnered enormous popularity for generations in Japan and throughout the world. An exhibition featuring popular works from Weekly Shonen Jump will also be held.

It’s a wild and crazy summer extravaganza in celebration of Universal Studios Japan’s 15th anniversary for an unforgettable summer!

“Dragon Ball Z: The Real 4-D”

Operation dates: to be announced when available

It’s Super Saiyan Goku versus Frieza, Ruler of the Universe in another intense battle!

The fierce clash between two legendary powerhouses in the Dragon Ball universe is brought to life in this jaw-dropping 4-D attraction.

“Death Note: The Escape”

Operation dates: 1 July to 4 September 2016

This attraction takes guests into the Death Note universe, where they must work together with Detective L to solve mysteries!

It’s a completely new, realistic escape game created in collaboration with the “Death Note 2016” film to be released this Fall.

“One Piece Premier Summer”

Operation dates: 1 July to 4 September 2016

The “One Piece Premier Show” has proven to be overwhelmingly popular on an annual basis and will be held this year as well. Experience the strong bond shared among members of the Straw Hat Pirates, while being enamoured in the craziness, excitement and emotion of battles on a grand scale in the One Piece universe.

Weekly Shonen Jump Exhibition Event

Operation dates: 1 July to 4 September 2016

This exhibition will be held in the park during Universal Jump Summer, with a focus on popular works currently published in Weekly Shonen Jump.
