Tokyo Travel & Food Seminar

Tokyo Metropolitan Government cordially invites you to the Tokyo Travel & Food Seminar. The event will showcase Tokyo's casual and fine dining gourmet culture and redefine your understanding of what the city has to offer foodies, including affordability and value for money.

It will also provide an excellent opportunity to network with and catch-up with old friends in the Japan-specialist media and travel community, while enjoying traditional Japanese finger-food.

Bic Camera is a consumer electronics retailer with 34 stores throughout Japan. In addition to selling home appliances and PCs, each store also sells a variety of other products such as alcohol, golf equipment, luxury brand goods, bicycles, and cosmetics.

Narita Airport Hospitality Program for Non-Japanese International Transit Passengers

Narita Airport is trialing a Hospitality Program for non-Japanese customers connecting between international flights from now until 31st December 2013. The program aims to provide overseas visitors the opportunity to experience Japan's excellent hospitality and to learn more about the many attractions the country has to offer in order to entice visitors back to Japan in the future.

Target group: Passengers connecting between international flights who are eligible to enter Japan
Services provided:
  1. Opening of a special transit lounge - with concierge to cater to customers' requests, refreshments and temporary baggage storage service
  2. Hospitality services menu - distribution of discount coupons, which can be used throughout the airport, special offers on taxi tours of local tourist spots by foreign language speaking drivers
  3. Entertainment - concerts, Japanese cultural experiences and other special events

Japan Photo Library

JNTO offers travel professionals free access to over 7,800 Japan images in both web and print sizes. The photo library is updated regularly. Register and sign in to access the images.


Okinawa Media Library
Okinawa Prefecture and Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB) have also launched the website 'Okinawa Story Media Library', providing free movies, photos and music materials for travel professionals.
