The above photo is of Okunoin located in Mount Koya (Koyasan), Wakayama Prefecture, covered by a dusting of recent snow.  Okunoin is the site of the mausoleum of Kobo Daishi (also known as Kukai), the founder of Shingon Buddhism and one of the most revered persons in the religious history of Japan.
Hi <<First Name>>,

Though Australia is heating up and preparing for the onslaught of summer, Japan has cooled down to bring on plenty of snow on the mountains. Many ski resorts are preparing to open or have already opened their slopes for the many visiting snow enthusiasts. So what are you waiting for? Maybe the below tips will help inspire your next trip to Japan.

For agent newsletter:
Hi everyone, Sally's resident helper elf here. Sally has flown off on her vacation already and left me with the reins of her newsletter, which means it's not quite what you're used to but we didn't want to leave you without any Japan information for the month.

So hopefully this will tie you over until Sally's return!

Have a great Christmas and New Year break and we will see everyone again in 2018!
