JNTO relaunches online image library
Media Release – Japan National Tourist Organization – June 11, 2008
The Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) has relaunched its online Japan Tourist Photo Library and now offers more than 2500 images of Japan from ranging temples and shrines to festivals and traditional food.
The new site features an advanced search option and improved cataloging system making it easier to find that perfect image. The library offers low (72dpi) resolution images for use as wallpaper and on personal websites, as well as high (350 dpi) resolution images for publishing purposes.
Registration is required for those wishing to utilise the high-resolution image library. Simply complete the online membership form on the main page and follow the prompts. Registered users will be able to download images after agreeing to the terms and conditions set out on the library site.
The JNTO Sydney office also has a small collection of maiko (apprentice geisha) images (not included online) which are available on request.
