JNTO meeting and incentive website renewal
Media Release – Japan National Tourist Organization – June 4, 2008
The Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) has renewed its meeting and incentive web pages providing additional practical functions for MICE business professionals.
The new pages offer a facility search system that enables users to locate more than 200 convention facilities and hotels in 53 cities across Japan, and a Request for Proposal (RFP) page. Also available on the JNTO website is information on unique venues and quality DMCs and PCOs in Japan, a newsletter providing the latest information on conventions and sightseeing attractions, and a photo library.
Along with the upgrade of the website, JNTO has published the Japan Meeting and Incentive Planner’s Guide (available as a brochure and on DVD), summarising information on facilities in Japan. Copies are available through regional JNTO offices.
“The new website provides all the necessary information for MICE organizers to plan a trip to Japan,” said JNTO Sydney office Executive Director, Jotaro Horiuchi. “Japan is rapidly gaining popularity as a holiday destination for Australians, and I believe that Japan is an unexplored but promising MICE destination. I urge Australian incentive and meeting professionals to visit the new site and explore Japan as a new destination.”
